Admission Process
Choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision for your family. At GIHS, we understand the importance of selecting a school that meets your child’s unique needs. Our school provides the perfect environment for your child’s learning and development experience.
At Gateway International High School, we adhere to the RTE norms and government regulations for admission. We believe in providing equal opportunities for all students irrespective of their gender, religion, or social background. Please note that due to limited seat availability, registration at our school does not guarantee admission.
To register your child, kindly complete the registration form and submit it to our Administrative Office within three days from the date of receipt. Please note that we will not accept any forms submitted after the given time frame.
ADMISSION INTO PRESCHOOL (Nursery, PP1, PP2, and Grade 1)
Kindly complete the admission process by either filling out the online admission form or downloading it. If you prefer a physical copy, you may collect it from our office. Once you have filled out the form, please submit it along with the required fees and photocopies of the following documents. Please note that we do not require original documents with the registration form.
- Birth certificate provided by the municipal authority
- Caste certificate in case of a candidate from the reserved category
- Parent’s address proof, e.g. electricity bill
A list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the school notice board and optionally on the website.
ADMISSION INTO PRIMARY CLASSES (2nd to 5th):
The admission registration forms will be made available starting from 15th January. Please be informed that the number of vacancies is limited and incarnated with government norms. You will receive further details about the admission process as per the scheduled timeline.
ADMISSION INTO HIGHER CLASSES (6th to 10th):
The registration forms for admission will be available from the 15th of January. Please note that the number of vacancies is limited and complies with government norms. We will keep you updated regarding the admission process based on the prescribed schedule.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who have not pursued the CBSE curriculum in Class 9th are not eligible for admission to Class X.
